The book is perfect for children aged 9-10


Tale: The lion king

The son of King Mufasa is born, the little Simba, who is the pride of his father. A small born with a lucky star, has a fiancee, a devoted and loyal to their king kingdom, but nothing good and pure come without its gray areas, because in the kingdom have envy the king's son. The life cycle of Scar, the king's brother, continually seeks to challenge and offend his brother, who does not have the capacity to take in their hands the power pack, he decides to make use of the enemies of Mufasa; hyenas to retain its position and then to impose Mufasa Simba. The two brothers and the struggle for power. Simba is too innocent and proud to understand that its momentum and lack of judgment may lead to unnecessarily put at risk. Mufasa something fails, trying to instill in their small teachings of the kings of the past and the cycle of life that lead you to be the rightful king. The Fall of the House of Mufasa and Scar Scar ascension uses the only weakness of his own brother; his young son to assassinate him. Loading blame the murderer of his father, Simba flees to be hunted by hyenas, fortunately survives. Hakuna Matata: Fleeing the past. Timon and Pumbaa, two travelers without a job or benefit, carry hand the grown Simba to a life where you deviate from your path, fleeing the destination to which it is intended to go, but Nala, his old friend game comes to remind him not matter how far you go, the past is always with him. The cycle of life never goes away.

In this story, appears a lot of kind of animals, so I’m going to work with children the animals and some verbs and adjectives related with these animals.

·      DIDACTIC  OBJECTIVES: With this activity we show the pupils the vocabulary about the tale.

v The second activity is a puzzle they will have to ride in pairs.

·      DIDACTIC  OBJECTIVES: Make children enjoy and learn how to work in groups.

    v The third activity is a little song where we work the numbers until ten. This song is very easy.

·      DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES: With this activity we show the pupils the numbers with the monsters, while we sing the song.

       The fourth activity is paint a page with various monsters with different characteristics

  DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES: With this activity children develop their imagination to create their own characters. And they will learn in a fun way the a monster is not always scary.

Telling

On the telling we make questions of the children and we can know how is lisening  the story. This activities questions are for kids to participate in the story.

 ·      DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES: Children practice numbers.

Post-Telling

On the post-telling, the story was narrated and we find the activities related to the story.
·      DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES: With this activity the pupils reviewed some food about the tale.

·      DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES: Children remember the vocabulary previously seen in flash card.
